In 2014, Let’s Talk Science, a national, charitable organization that creates and delivers science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs to Preschool to Grade 12 classrooms, launched IdeaPark.  IdeaPark offers early years to Grade 3 educators a collection of free resources and planning tools to support a skills-based, co-constructed, learning environment through STEM.

Free Educator Resources

Developed and maintained by our Let's Talk Science education specialists, these educator resources use an inquiry-based learning approach, and combine skill development with literacy and numeracy to encourage a co-constructed learning environment for you and your students.

“I use IdeaPark’s database of explorations and investigations, which focus on inquiry and fostering a child’s skill development. I find them to be exceptional resources to support my curriculum planning. I certainly recommend these outstanding resources to all teachers.”

Rose Brophy, Teacher, Newfoundland and Labrador English School District, NL

Professional Learning

Looking for great ways to create a co-constructed learning environment in your classroom? Join us for a professional learning session. Register for a workshop, summer institute or look for Let's Talk Science at a local educator conference.

Our professional learning sessions offer concrete examples of how to implement skills-based, inquiry and problem solving in your classroom approach.

“I registered for this workshop because I’m starting a new grade level in September. But what the presenters gave me was a good understanding that these learning approaches will work with any grade level. I appreciate all the planning and organization that went into this day. I also appreciate all the great online resources available to teachers through IdeaPark.”

Michele, Brant Hald, Early Learning Kindergarten Program, Ontario

“Rather than talking about how to do things, we actually DID things, like building. If I’m excited, the students will be over the moon!”

Geoff Kerman, Grade 2/3, HWDSB, Ontario
